Gum Treatment

The importance of good, stable gum health cannot be stressed enough and is perhaps the single most important aspect of dentistry. This is because in the presence of active gum disease, not only will the natural bone of the teeth be compromised, but also potentially any dental work that has been carried out such as crowns, bridges, root fillings and perhaps most seriously, dental implants.

Gum Treatment Assessment

Our initial dental assessment will always include an assessment of your gum health and if we suspect there is some underlying gum disease, we will always advise you and treat this and stabilise it before continuing with more advanced dental procedures such as dental implants.

We are able to offer gum health screening to enable early detection of gum disease and provide the very best treatment plan.
