Multiple Dental Implants

About multiple dental implants in Darlington Dental Clinic. This procedure can be used in situations where there are multiple adjacent teeth missing. In instances of a more than one missing adjacent teeth, a number of implants may be used to support a bridge. Once your dental implants have been placed we will allow the area to heal for three months. During this healing stage, your bone will fuse onto the dental implants and allow them to integrate. Once this healing process is complete we will construct the bridge and attach it onto your implants.

Implants with Dentures

Implants can also be used to help keep dentures firm in your mouth (implant overdentures). This would be suitable if you have lost all of your teeth and are struggling with dentures. You implant dentist at Darlington Dental Clinic would place a number of implants in your jaw (typically two in your lower or four in your upper jaw) and allow for three months for your implants to heal and integrate with your bone. Once the healing stages have elapsed, we will then construct a new denture for you that will ‘clip’ onto your implants and in this way stay stable.
